How Do You Get A Deceased Loved Ones Fingerprint?

You can ask your funeral director to take the prints for you. My preferred method which is better than ink (in my opinion) is to use a simple method that I developed for this very process. (Yep most other fingerprint jewellery websites have copied this process)

I don't recommend taking moulds of the fingerprints. The captured print is very subtle and not well suited to reproducing in jewellery. 

It is easy to take a fingerprint with no special equipment or kit. It just could not be easier. All you need is three things. Then watch the short video, you will be taking fingerprints like a pro in minutes. 

  • HB Pencil

  • Sheet Of White Paper

  • Sellotape. Ideally 20mm-25mm wide.

How To Take A Fingerprint For Jewellery?

It is very easy and you can follow my simple method to take fingerprints. All you need it a pencil, piece of paper and some sellotape. Learn more about taking fingerprints here. 

Memorial Fingerprint Jewellery With Ashes?

Yes. You can do this yourself or ask your funeral director to carry out the process. It only takes a few minutes. The process itself is no different from taking fingerprints from anyone, alive or deceased. Learn more about taking fingerprints here.

Can You Make A Baby Fingerprint Necklace?

Yes I can, the only limiting factor is the age of the baby and how quickly their print has developed. The youngest I have lifted a print from is 3 months but it can take up to 12 months. The process is the same as for an adult. you can learn more about taking fingerprints for jewellery here.

Can I Get A Fingerprint Necklace For Men?

Yes, I can make a fingerprint necklace in any style to suit an individual. Whether it is for your dad, your husband, brother or friend. The dog tag fingerprint necklace is a popular choice.

Can I Get A Double Fingerprint Necklace?
