You can ask your funeral director to take the prints for you. My preferred method which is better than ink (in my opinion) is to use a simple method that I developed for this very process. (Yep most other fingerprint jewellery websites have copied this process)
I don't recommend taking moulds of the fingerprints. The captured print is very subtle and not well suited to reproducing in jewellery.
It is easy to take a fingerprint with no special equipment or kit. It just could not be easier. All you need is three things. Then watch the short video, you will be taking fingerprints like a pro in minutes.
HB Pencil
Sheet Of White Paper
Sellotape. Ideally 20mm-25mm wide.
No fingerprint jewellery kit is required. Please watch the short video above to see how easy it is to provide your fingerprint. Super easy, super quick, do it at home in seconds.
